When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed (encrypted) version of your password. We do not store your password in readable form. You may optionally provide your first name.
During sessions, we store the text of your conversations with the AI therapist, any pattern insights generated, and session metadata such as dates and phases completed. We do not record or store audio of your voice. Audio is transcribed in real time and the audio file is discarded immediately after transcription.
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. All data is associated with your account and is not accessible to other users.
Unloop uses the following third-party services to operate:
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile page. Upon deletion, your session content, messages, and personal information are removed from our systems. You may also request a copy of your data by contacting us directly.
Active account data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days. We do not retain session content after account deletion.
Unloop is intended for users 13 and older. For users under 18, we encourage parental awareness of their use of the app. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
When Unloop is deployed under an organizational or tribal license, individual user data remains private and is not accessible to the licensing organization. Session content is never shared with employers, tribal administrators, or program staff. Aggregate usage statistics (such as total number of sessions) may be made available to licensing organizations without identifying individual users.
We will notify registered users by email if we make material changes to this privacy policy.
